Rules for Drawing

1.  All drawings are to be made on lineless paper, using only one side of the paper.

2.  Lines should be continuous and distinct, not fuzzy.

3.  Drawings should be large and in proportion.

4.  Lead lines to labels should be absolutely straight (so use a straight edge).

5.  Lead lines should never cross each other.

6.  The labels must be parallel to the top and bottom of the paper.

7.  Labels are to be neatly printed.

8.  A short accurate title should be placed below each drawing.  Sometimes, it is advisable to include a short explanation of the drawing.

9. Always check your spelling for accuracy as you are using technical terms.

10.  Be sure to identify your work with your name at the upper right hand corner.
