• School libraries are all about books.   Even though this is a virtual library, books are still available for you to read!!!  Check out these sites for FREE online books.

• Free online books: Over 5000 FREE ebooks are here for you to read.  Search by author, title, and subject to find your book of interest.  You can post comments about the books and keep a reading list.  Registration is required, but remember, it is FREE!!!
• ReadPrint:  Over 8000 ebooks are available for you to read absolutely FREE!!!  Classic authors and their works are available for download.   You can find this site on Facebook or Twitter.
• Free ebooks:  This site allows you to download FREE ebooks and magazines!!!        If you are a budding author, you can submit your ebook as well (fee required).  Follow this site on Twitter or add them to your RSS feed.   Registration is required, but remember, it is FREE!!!!
• Shakespeare:   Did you forget to bring home your English book?     Read all of Shakespeare's work online absolutely FREE!!!
• Many of you may not like to read online books and would prefer to read "real" books instead.     If you would like to check out a book to read, please visit the GTHS catalog or the Georgia PINES catalog to find the book you are looking for.

ATTENTION:  Share what you are reading with others!!!!

If you would like to share with others what you are reading, check out Shelfari.   This site allows you to create a profile, locate books you are reading or have read, and review and comment on them.  You can find friends with similar interests, join reading groups and keep a virtual bookshelf.  Best of all, it is FREE!!!    Once you create a profile, search for the group called GTHS.   We can begin sharing all of the good books we have read!!!

Check out Grovetown High School's "Favorite Reads" blog.  This blog is designed for students who want to participate in a discussion about a favorite book.  This month, we are reading New Moon by Stephanie Meyer.      Read the book (I am sure you already have) and come discuss it with us!!!!!
