Attention students: You will not be successful in high school if you are unable to research correctly!!!! Research papers, senior projects, and class projects all require that you are able to find appropriate information and use it correctly. While it is very easy to go to Google to perform your research, there are other resources that are better. Take a look at the tools below!!!

GALILEO: This is a FREE virtual library provided by the state of Georgia. This should be the first place you go to perform your research!!!!! While easy to use, it does take some practice finding the research that you are looking for. Open a new window and log into GALILEO (you need a password from your media specialist), then watch the GALILEO tutorial below.
Georgia PINES Library: This website allows you to search all the public libraries in the state of Georgia.
Internet Public Library: A very large virtual library.
GeorgiaInfo: Need information on the state of Georgia? This site is available through GALILEO too!!
Encarta: An online encyclopedia
